How do you prevent users from putting Access in design view?

Create an MDE of your database, then give them this. It stops access to VBA code and form and report design.
You need to keep a copy of the original mdb though, as any changes need to be done in there and the MDE re generated.

I tried this but for some reason Access is unable to create an MDE. Not sure why since it's a small database with few records.

Have you made sure your MDB compiles? Do you get an error message?
