We have a customer with IP Office R9.0, Site A and Site B with SCN.

The director of the site A wants to block calls to your extension only from site B, so, any call from site B to yout extension will be forwarding for your secretary, and any call of his site ring in your extension.

I thought of using the DND exceptions with the numbers of his SITE however, if I used this facility the calls will not be directed to his secretary.

Not think it's possible to make this setting.

someone help me in this case?

Sorry if I was not clear enough or lacked some information, but my English is very poor.

Should you guys need more information I am available.

Thank You Very Much.

Change the SCN to just a H323 line and then you would need to use shortcodes to route calls across the link between the systems. You can then set the shortcodes on site B for each extension to be translated to the relevant secretary.

Alternatively you could try and utilise a VM Pro module, so the users on site B dial a shortcode to access the module, they are then asked to enter an extension number and using the module call flows you can forward the calls to the relevant secretary. Using this you would still have SCN and would then need to use the DND and excepetions settings as well.

This might do the trick for you, though I've not tested this particular setup.

On Site B, set the SCN channels to 0 (Voice and Outgoing)
Configure a H323 line (or a SIP line if you have the licensing in order on both ends)
Make a new ARS, name it: **NET** and add coding to route all calls via the H323/SIP line, to the Receptionist.

This will keep SCN signalling intact on Site B, and all SCN features for Site A.

If Site A use the external lines of Site A, there has to be coding for such as well in the new ARS.

Kind regards

On R9+ you cannot set the number of channels in a SIP trunk to 0 (1 is minimum), but you can set the number of outgoing channels to 0.
A better option is to disable SCN and use shortcodes in User restriction tables on site B as Pepp77 advised.

Correct, but my suggestion involves 2 trunks on each side.

Site A: A Fully working SCN trunk + an inbound H323 or SIP line. (I bet the receptionist would go mental if you took away the SCN features)
Site B: A signalling/inbound only SCN trunk + an outbound H323 or SIP line going directly to the receptionist. (or giving external line if that's an option as well)

Kind regards
