Block calls to external lines

Hi !
I have a question for helping people of this thread- On a MX ONE Pbx can you tell me please how can I make some settings in order to block some outgoing calls to external lines ?
To understand better: Only a few internal users from Digital/Analog/IP extensions should have the rights to make external calls with destination 000( first "0" is the route acces code to all external PSTN's, next "00" is the prefix of all international calls). I have to restrict aprox. 90% of our users to dial international calls because of costs. At the moment all users have full access to any external calls via an ISDN/E1 trunk. Thanks for help !

Thanks Pviorel! I didn't succeed to set the option I was talking about. Have you another idea how to enable international calls only from a few extensions to dial ? In my meaning are too much TCS's to set with this method. On the other hand I tried to modify the categories of some extensions to match with categories set for "000" destination but unfortunately I still can dial international numbers from every extension (KS and EX). For example: I put CDCAT=9&8&1 for NUM=000 and I put CDCAT=9&8&1 for a few extension. I have thought that with these settings now I shouldn't have rights to dial international numbers from other extensions than those with CAT=9&8&1. Have you any idea ?

The CAT in call discrimination relates to the TRAF fields in the extension category/ CSP, not the extension category, e.g.

000 1

Would be TRAF (dig 3/4=01 in day and 5/6=01 night) for a category, e.g. CAT or CSP 2

So your extension would be in cat or CSP 2, not 1

pls send CADAP; or ts_about so we can see what software you are on, then we can give you the commands, you say you are mxone it it looks like you are tsw,

I didn't list the NADAP because it is very long, generally in NADAP categories of most all of the extensions are 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1.

Unfortunately I still can dial from every extension international numbers.
Let me detail a bit what I've done: I have to specify first of all, that my route acces code to all of external numbers is "0" through an ISDN/E1 trunk, so when I dial "000" the dialed international number is: "003621..." for example, so I hope I've proceed correctly when I executed command: number_data_initiate -number 000 -discrimination 8
- I executed : EXCCS:CAT=8,TRAF=......... exactly how you explained in your reply, so now I have set the common categories for CAT 8.
- Next step I executed number_data_initiate -number 000 -discrimination 8
- I cheked the common category codes (EXCAP,KSCAP) for several extensions which ones I'm using for test this issue, and I've changed them as follows:
For example: EXCACIR=20132,CAT=8;
KSCACIR=20031,CAT=1;
Now I should have permission to dial ext. number 0003621.... ext. number only from extension 20132, but also 20031 with CAT=1 can dial with success the mentioned number. I tried also with two more extensions set to CAT=1 or CAT=2 and the problem persists: all the extensions can dial the international number.
Another problem is that when I give NADAP:NUMTYP=CD; to see what discrimination category code (CDCAT) belongs to number 000, the printed list it's so long that I couldn't see this, but I hope it has been succesfully set with number_data_initiate to CDCAT=8;

Pviorel, your last reply solved the problem, I had to execute number_data_end -number 000 -discrimination 1..8 then the
Number_data_initiate -number 000 -discrimination 8 , then set the CAT's for each extension and I made it!

Thanks a lot pviorel and parnum for your kindness, I have a few more questions to ask in other threads if you don't mind and you would help me !
