Is there any way to Block incoming Caller ID on a BCM 400. I see the option under call pilot CLID routing but there lines aren't answered by auto attendant. This is a BCM 400 4.0.

Sorry guys, I meant block incoming calls from a specific telephone number?

If by that you mean you want to block a certain telephone number from calling into your system, only the telco could that, but if all you want is to prevent that caller from getting to anyone on the phone system, try using CLID routing in the voicemail. You can't stop it from getting in there but you can send the call directly to a voicemail box where you can say whatever you want in the greeting and if you make it an information mailbox, they can't leave a message either.

Don't know what you're trying to do or deal with but there are also a couple of other places you can send the caller where you can really have some fun with.

The telco tells me they cannot do this through a PRI, which i find strange. Does the voicemail option need the lines to be answered by auto attendant because they have a recpetionist answering their lines

Yes AA would need to answer first.

What type of call is it?
There is an issue with some 250 area code calling the world with nonsense.

If it's some local harrasing try AA with the CLID route
