This is for outbound calling only.
I have control of sending out the caller id on all calls. But we have an issue with the 800 numbers..... Long story... The answer is to remove the caller id going out and 800 #s work fine. So, I am looking for ideas on ways to block caller id when dialing 800 numbers, but still maintaining caller id on all other calls. For now, I have 4 channels on the pri in another trunk group and I am using the feature code for accessing a trunk (704) to pick the alternate group. These trunks have no caller id assigned in 21-12. I would rather do something else if there is another way.

Thanks for any ideas

Try dialing *67 on a trunk before dialing. The telco code should still work.

That's a good idea I forgot about, but I guess because the Pri is coming from an ATT IpFlex router, it doesn't work.

I would pose that question to AT&T. Maybe they just need to allow it on your circuit.

Yeah, we tried that. Funny thing, they actually don't have the number in the router that they are trying to out pulse or keep from being out pulsed. The number is actually an analog line that is forwarded to a DID number in the PBX. I just didn't know that this was going on. I just found out when the router was rejecting the 800 numbers, 1st day of go live on new system, because of the caller id I was putting on it. Some how the OLD OLD system they had could mask the caller id to whatever they wanted based on the number they called.
