Is there a way to block caller ID so that the called party does not see who it is from on a M2250?

I looked at the opt on att_data and thought it would be as simple as adding cls clba like on a M2616. I rarely work on the console phones and any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Are you saying you don't want the ATT to see the Name and Number of how's calling?

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

It sounds like the poster wants the 2250 to call someone, and that someone should not see Caller ID.

If that someone is outside your company, add the LD57 Flex Feature Code "CPP" and make it *67 (traditional, but you can make it any sequence of digits)

Then the 2250 dials *67+phone number and Caller ID is blocked.

He should have said. If the 2250 make an outside call, How do I block the CLID so the person being called doesn't know who's calling.

Thanks, GHTROUT. it acutally was an existing code in our system that we forgot about since we haven't used it in a while.

Acewarlock, I thought I was specific enough. Will do so in the future.

Thanks you

Sorry I misunderstood you, but I don't like to ASSUME anything thats why I ask more questions so I can give better answers.
