Blobs

I continually get the following messages as I am trying to input history notes:

BLOB not opened
Context: replace NOTES: g:\goldmine\ContHist
BDE Error Cat: Code: [42:3]
BDE: 500 [21/6/1999] GoldMine: 5.50.10424

and
Too many open BLOBs.
Context: Blob
BDE Error Cat:Code: [37.22]
BDE: 500 [21/6/1999] GoldMine: 5.50.10424

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this? I can only enter 1 or 2 history notes at the most before they start popping up. I then have to log out of Goldmine and log back in.

Make a backup of your database and then run a pack & rebuild on your system.
