BLIND Transfer

Hi Guys,

Is there any way to prevent the blind transfer of calls, what happens with us is that our recptionist uses the BLF to ring extentions so if she goes to ring an extention to talk to the person and a call comes in at the same time the call goes through to that extention which is not what we want.

you canot stop blind transfers ( an operator completing the transfer before being answered) however you should set thre receptionist phone to "busy on held" to insure that when a call is placed on hold queing calls will not be presented
