I have a puzzling one: Our parent company wants to replace an old Rolm that is dying with a MICS pulled from another location. We will be upgrading the MICS to 6.1 and replacing the NAM model 6 rls 3(station port integration) with a Call Pilot 150. But, before we order the upgrade and VM, I need to know that we can do blind transfers (or really long supervised transfers) from CCR to a hunt group.
On my lab Norstar (MICS 4.0, Flash vm), if I set up a choice in a CCR menu to transfer to a hunt group, it will ring the hunt group for 4-5 rings and then the flash will pull the call back. At this point it plays the "The person you have called is not available." and then the CCR menu again. It appears that the Flash is doing a supervised transfer, and since the party does not answer, pulls the call back. Of course, we need to have the hunt groups(broadcast in one area and a sequential in another) to ring until answered, as they do when I have the line route doirectly to the hunt group without be front-ended by the CCR. Unfortunately, I can't just give each hunt group a target line, as the number has been in use (with a menu) on the old system for years and is widely published.
Is there a way that I can have the Flash (for my demo)and/or Call Pilot 150 (for the production system) do a blind transfer from the CCR menu, or atleast keep the CCR from pulling the call back until maybe like 10 rings? Will being on MICS 6.1 help (doubtful, as it seems to be a VM plateform issue).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
