1) it possible to morph 2 photos in illustrator using the blend tool? I need to morph a rusty car into a bright shiny car. They want it in a horizontal direction. Would it be easier in photoshop?
2) EPS pix from photoshop look bad in illustrator. PSD look ok. what format should I use when transferring to illustrator?
Thanks,

1) No. Illustrator isn't suited for this type of work. Photoshop would be better.

2) They should be ok. If they are linked rather than embedded, you're probably only seeing a preview of the image for positioning. Select the image in the "Links" palette, and in the fly-out menu, choose "Embed". Alternatively, if you're placing images in Illustrator, deselect the "Link" checkbox.

If you really wanted to you could, though photoshop is what you really should be doing it in.

But in the odd case you do, what you do is you make opacity masks with a gradient fills going inward on each photo then overlap them. Kind of limited but possible in away if in the event no copy of Photoshop could be found and it’s a choice of nothing/Corel Product/Microsoft Product.. i'd choose the above :p

Cheers
