BlazeBGI.pas

This is somewhat a stretch or `fat chance` scenario, but I'm hoping to find a TP7 TPU or the actual source code for the BlazeBGI unit.

I have the source code for a very old game I want to convert to Delphi, but unfortunately the program won't compile due to version differences in the unit, nor can I find a compatible unit to replace it. Google even comes up with nothing useful unfortunately.

If anyone knows a unit that is relatively compatible, or, HAS blazebgi.pas kicking around somewhere, get in touch please.

I'm also interested in getting old source code for other miscellaneous things for just about anything from the old Pascal days, so if there is anything anyone would like to give some old code a new home, I'd be more than happy to accommodate.

If you want to port this game to Delphi, you will have to rewrite what is in the BlazeBGI unit anyway. BGI = Borland Graphics Interface. Which tells me that this unit relates to the graphics part of the game.

Since graphics is a totally different animal in Windows, trying to find BlazeBGI won't do you much good anyway. Just plan on rewriting it because you'll need to anyway.

As for other Pascal sources that might be more revelant, have you looked at SWAG? That's probably the best and only place at this stage.

Oh, I fully understand that I've got to rewrite the code ground up. No question about it. What I'm hunting attempting to do is get the original TP7 code running so I can trace what the original author has given.

I didn't think of SWAG. I'll have to see if I can dig that up.
