Certain Word documents within our VSS 6.0 database have begun opening incorrectly in that when opening and viewing VSS copies of the documents(as opposed to checking out), all that occurs is a new Word program opens with no document opened within it - no pages whatsoever.
From what I can tell this is randomly occuring on different client machines both XP and w2k, and sometimes said files will open ok, other times they will not. The number of files experiencing this fault is also increasing.
Has anyone any idea? I tried changing the location of the temprary files created when opening a VSS doc but this had no effect.
