I use .SEP files found in the winnt\system32 folder in windows 2000 for my seperator page in between print jobs. I do this b/c its the only way I know how to send multiple print jobs and have them seperated.

My question is how do I make a seperator page print with NOTHING on it from a tray that is identified on the printer as being color?

I'm using windows 2000 professional, the printer is connected by a standard printer cable, the printer itself is a HP LaserJet 8100, and I'm using the 5si driver.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

You would have to write a sep page with the appropriate pjl/escape sequences to generate a paper call to the appropriate tray on your printer (see your manual) and then eject the paper
<ESC>%-12345X@PJL SET PAGEPROTECT = OFF
<ESC>&l1H
<ESC>E
for example
<ESC> is the escape code 1B.
