Hi,
On a redhat system, I have a blank at the console
when I log on (name and password) whereas I can
work on virtual console (ALt-F1, F2, ...).
Did anyone got the same problem ?
Please help
Thanks

do you mean you have a blank screen when you connect remotely?

Are you using some kind of X forwarding? How are you connecting and where from? another linux box? PuTTY?

Thanks for answer,
I have a blank screen when I connect localy on
the console connected to the server. The server is
accessed remotely by other server, it was working before,
the only thing taht happens was address conflict with another server and I changed the IP adress of that other server.
Regards

Do you have the 1st entry (c1) enabled?

FILE = /etc/inittab
