Hi,

When I use 'probe-scsi-all' command on my Sun Solaris system I get a number of SCSI ID's listed but with no description as to what is on there. I also then get the SCSI ID for my Disk however, this is listed in text after the SCSI ID that is given. So what I would like to know is what are the entries with no description but with a SCSI ID displayed? Are these still SCSI ID's I should steer clear of when attaching a tape device. Any help would be cool...

Thanks

DTP
