Blank page in report

Daer all,

I have just produced a report which in theory should print out one page. Initialy I find the client I wish to report on, I then us a shadow table to copy name & address details into and then print out a letter with the deatils inserted. However when either viewed or printed I get 2 pages Not 1, the first page being blank. In design mode I get a message at the top of the screen saying: Report contains an object too large to fit on the page. I cannot find any object! Help.........

Ahhh, we have too many trees anyway. Just print out the blank page

I have had some problem with reports and the Fit to Width and Fit to Height on the fields. Sometimes it will look fine on the report, but will move it over as far as the report is concerned. Try going to the runtime options, and playing with these options.

Thanks James,

I looked again at the report and realised I had the layout larger than the page setup. By moving the 'Bands' up a notch sorted it all out. As ever it' the simple things that make all the difference.
