blank output when running through application

I am using CR 10. I have a report working fine when running through Crystal Reports. When I try to run it through vendors app then it gives blank, in fact its as though it runs and then clears because shows nothing. Every other report run through vendors app (~100) runs ok and gives same report as running through crystal. What could possibly be the issue, the report appears to be quite simple

I would compare the database and parameter setup in the report to one that is working and see what the differences are that might be causing your problem.

THANKS but no parameters on report, as I say its a very very simple report. I have never seen this in 14 years of designing reports

you may be using Date Parameter, check the format (Day/Month/Year) and try to pass a generic range (01/01/2012) if so, it is the matter of how database handles the date format.
