Blank monitor

HI,

I got E250 sun box. when i leave monitor for some time without working on console, monitor goes blank. [ in command login mode, not in GUI] . is it a screen saver?
if so, can i disable it and make my monitor permanatly on.
could any one help me in this case?

It looks like a question that is asked at the end of a system build (Solaris 2.6?)
"Do you require your system to save power after 30 mins?" I'm not sure of the exact format. However look at file /etc/power.conf
We didn't want this option so our systems =
/etc/power.conf

# Auto-Shutdown Idle(min) Start/Finish(hh:mm) Behavior
autoshutdown 30 9:00 9:00 noshutdown
statefile //.CPR


As you see "noshutdown" is selected. You can man page "power.conf"

I'm not saying this is you problem but it's worth looking at.

The monitor itself can have a power saving, look at the monitor menu forthis.
