Blank Lines on Excel Export

I have a subreport that I am exporting to Excel but when it exports it creates 3 blank lines between each line of data. I have GF2a and GF2b both with data and neither are suppressed as GF2a has my subreport in it and GF2b has my data. If I suppress GF2a then I can't use those figures in my data which I need but suppressing this means my download is spot on so clearly the problem lies in GF2a.

Can anyone help, has anyone experienced this problem before?

Cheers

hi
make sure your fields are touching each other
because if there any space between them you will have a blank space
also if you have empty collumn insert a tex box in them and add a space bar in it so not to be empty

I've tried that but I'm still getting the same results. The export is perfect if I suppress the data in GH2a but then I lose my results which is obviously pointless. I've never had any problems with exporting data before but then again I have never tried it using subreports.
