In my win98SE box, i have IE6. When i "open in new window" a hyperlink, a new instance of IE6 will appear but only the borders and frames. When i press <Esc> then F5 (refresh), the page of the link will normally load. Why is this so? Is there a way to avoid this? Thanks for all the suggestions.

Try this: Start, Run, regsvr32 urlmon.dll, OK, reboot. Then open IE and go to Tools, Internet Options, Programs tab, Reset Web Settings button.

Thanks smah but that didn't fix my problem. Some time not long ago, I remember adding sumthing in my registry that was supposed to enhance my browsing speed. This came from a chat buddy and maybe it's the cause. How can i change this back?
