blank field not displaying

I have a detail line that is not displaying a record if a field is null or blank why?

Hi,
Is a table join involved?
( I assume there are fields in the line that are not blank)

If a join is on one of the possibly blank or NULL fields, use a left outer join.

Turk is probably correct, however if not, try posting technical information:

Crystal version
Database/connectivity used
Example data
Expected Output

The details will display everything that is pulled back, so your problem is either in returning data or suppression formulas.

Thanks I found it.

It was in my select statement. I was using * for all apparently that does not work for blank / null fields. II used an If then statement. It now works great.
