Blank email message

Hmm, something strange just happened.

Eudora told me I had a new email message. When I looked in the InBox, the new message had a blank where the sender address would be.

I opened the email and the ONLY text was the current date.

If this were spam it's a very odd piece of spam that says nothing.

Anyone else seen this before?

If you click Blah Blah Blah button, do you get any other headers?

The "From" line can be blank if the sender uses a non standard client to send the message, perhaps uses "Sender" instead I have seen.

BlahBlahBlah button? I have version 5.0.2. From what I can tell, there were NO headers.

Accessdabbler,

The blabhblahblah button appears when you double click the message to open it in its own window - it is not in the message list.
It is in mine and I have 4.3.2. I have not found any good reason to upgrade from it yet.

Huh. I guess I've seen the Blahblahblah button but never really looked at it (if you know what I mean). Unfortunately, I deleted the blank message before I posted my question so I guess I'll never know what was up with it.

It might be in the trash folder.

As is my custom, I deleted it from there too. Oh well.

I posted my question just in case blank emails was some sort of new virus going around.
