Blank data in Cross tabs - hlp please!

I have built a query which show me how many sales for different products I get each day. Obviously the column is product and the row is day of current month. Data summarised being sales. If I have no sales on a particular day - this row does not show in the cross tab - how can i get the cross tab to display this row with zeros going all the way across?

help much appreciated.

Has any one tried Visual Cut (Millet software) - excellent distribution tool for CR - any opinions?

Create a table with the days and do a left join from there to your sales table. This will give you all dates regardless of whether you have sales or not.

Cheers thats great - another things cropped up.

if you want to show two groups next to each other ie not nested can you do this? ie product sales then department sales for each day as opposed to department sales within each product?
