I have a IBM BladeCenter with an internal 2-port Fiber Switch connected to a FASTt600 HA. I am running WIN2K3 booting off the SAN on one Blade. I am running the latest drivers, firmware, etc across the entires configuration.
Problem:
The blade server loses its connection to the SAN therefore haulting the system.
I can still ping the server, however I can't map a drive, terminal services into it. The Event Logs do not show any errors. IBM is of no help, they can't figure it out. I'm tried reinstalling the OS, switching bays, replacing QLogic card, rebuilding LUNs, rebooting SAN and fiber switch, running diagnostics. If the server is idle it will stay up for days, however one I introduces some moderate I/O activity it locks.
Does anyone have ANY ideas cause I am out of them!!
Thanks
Rich
