Make sure you have the accoustic baffles as they are very noisy.
Tip 2
Upgrade the firmware on everything asap. I have serveral problems where the install looked to go ok, then I'd restart the bladecentre and the blades no longer booted.
Tip 3
Set-up a NIM server to install AIX on each blade as the AIX install pauses for an hour between cd1 & cd2 as the cdrom is connected via USB.
If you get any specific problems during set-up post them and I'll do my best to help.
Are you using any external storage FastT600 (or whatever they are calling them now?)

I last worked on a mixture of 1.6GHz PowerPC 970 & 2.2GHz PowerPC 970FX JS20's. As you'd expect there are performance limitations with things like the 3.5" internal drive and usb cd/dvd drive, only 4 DIMM sockets with a max of 4GB
The Keyboard/video/mouse and console select button
are not supported on the JS20 blade so we had to get usb to ps/2 convertors.
Also if you only have one power supply the blade centre internal fan sounds like concorde taking off.
The second IDE connector supporting an IDE HDD cannot be used when a Fibre Expansion card or BladeCenter Gigabit Ethernet Expansion Card is installed due to lack of space.
A few flaky options in the GUI as well that caused the whole blade centre to reboot all-in-all I was impressed with them.
