blade 100 or ultra 60

Advice pls
Should I get a blade 100 512mb ide, or a ultra 60 360MHz 4mb cache, 1gb ram, scsi.
Which system does solaris work the best with?

My use is for enterprise java stuff and as a news aggregator.

It's matter of your taste and what you feel comfortable working with.

I do know JAVA Applications are RAM memory huggers. A process can take at least 30 seconds or more to open. Good examples are WebStart, admintool and WebConsole.

And you will be running much more than those so, whichever system you choose, make sure you have lots of RAM/Memory installed.

You better stay with the Ultra 60 if you can.

My experience with multiple blade 100 is generaly not reliable.
