Last week one of our workstations contracted a SpamBot rootkit. Before we could catch it we'd been blacklisted by just about every blacklist out there; CBL, SpamCOP, etc... Luckily I was able to remove the rootkit and our IP from most of the existing blacklists. Unfortunately today one of my users attempted to send an email to an address @us.army.mil. I tested the email address from gmail.com and my home email with no problems. It seems to be only our IP that is blocked. Usually the blacklists give some information about removal, but not the Army. This is all I get:
xxxxxx.xxxxxxx@us.army.mil
#< #5.5.0 SMTP; 554-mxoutdr1.us.army.mil> #SMTP#
Does anyone have any ideas? Even the number of someone I can talk to over at the US Army would be helpful.
Thanks
-Craig
