Blacked Out Images

Hi All,

I have run into a problem where I have a couple of applications building reports on different versions of Crystal Reports (8.5 and 9).

The main problem is the fact that the images are sometimes blacked out. IE: Instead of the expected image I see a black square.

This is tough to debug because the problem is intermitent and seems to be temporarily corrected by re-booting the box.

Has anyone had similar experience or can anyone offer any suggestions as to what could be causing this problem?

Sure, that happens to me when I'm low on system resources.

Make sure you've plenty of RAM, and that you have a massive swap file (depending upon your OS).

Also make sure that you apply the service packs:

Hi, You can also check your IE temporary files settings..Needs to be somewhat large if lots of grapicis are involved.
Also,under the advanced options you can tell IE to empty your temp. cache files on exit..Try this and see if it helps..
