If it's an Exchange issue, yes. But if it's more regarding the Blackberry or BES, then you should post in Forum952 .

Whilst we are discussing BB/Exchange 2007 - is a public folder required for BB free/busy lookups?

I'm fairly sure I read somewhere that it is!
