Hello All;

I am new to this, so please excuse the question.

We are currently using the Treo 650 and want to switch to Verizon's Blackberry 7130e. Problem is we are a Novell Groupwise shop and our version of Groupwise (5.2) is too old for BES to work with.

Anyone know of a PIM (similar to the Palm Desktop) that I can use with the blackberry to synch contacts, appointments, tasks...etc, since cannot use BES ??
or, is there a work around ??

Would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Will

The blackberry phones come with sync software that you can use if you don't have a BES.

It will sync mail, contacts, tasks, notes, etc.

Blackberry is telling me there isn't ??

What is the software called ? Is it like the Palm Desktop ?

Thank you...

Will

It's the Blackberry Desktop Manager.

That is correct.
It is the blackBerry desktop manager.
This is on the CD that should have come with the BlackBerry device itself.

I do not know for sure if it will work with GW 5.2 or not though.
But it should act just like Intellisync does, or RI does.
