Blackberry Software and Windowx XP 64bit

Does anyone know if the Blackberry desktop software will work on Windows XP 64bit Beta? Or should I just install it and see what happens?

In case anyone else is interested, The black berry software will install on the 64bit version of windows. However when I plug my phone in the computer can't find the drivers for it, and the software won't sync with the phone.

I've emailed blackberry about it, and hopefully they can come up with something.
