Is the Blackberry Email Sync/Reconciliation capable of populating the Blackberry inbox with the contents of the Outlook inbox similar to the way the Palm products sync email.

Example - if a user is in an area with no Blackberry wireless communication, by placing the Blackberry in the PC cradle and running a sync/reconciliation, could they synchronize (basically a copy of the Outlook in basket moved to the Blackberry?

Thanks

Basically, no. This is where the BlackBerry and the Palm Pilots etc. differ in design. The BlackBerry is a primarily a wireless emailing tool and will only synchronise email deletions and filing and not new mails. It is assumed that all mails are directed to the BlackBerry 'Over The Air' controlled by redirector settings and filters. This is obviously not much help if you don't have a GPRS signal.
N.B. Be aware that, in my experience, BlackBerries do have a tendancy to lose the GPRS signal for no apparent reason and can only be regained by turning off the wireless and turning it on again.
