Blackberry Mobile Data Service Simulator

Blackberry has a JDE dev. kit and simulator for writing applets for the blackberry and simulating the MDS. The only problem is, I can't seem to get the simulator to run. I've tried setting up the classpath, etc. It seems that this is the only part of their dev. kit that doesn't work - and there is little to no help documented. Any suggestions are welcome!

Nevermind.
Apparently you can't have the classpath env. variable set to java - it has to be blank or something
