Blackberry folders

first let me say this is a great forum, I have really learned a lot.

Is it possible to create folders for email on a Blackberry. I know I can use the folders I have in Outlook to store email messages when I am on the Blackberry, but I cannot find anything about creating folders?

The creation and deletion of folders on the BlackBerry is managed exclusively at the email client to which it is connected. This is certainly the case on 3.3.0.146 of the handheld software which is pretty up to date.
