Does anyone know if Blackberry Enterprise for MS Exchange will sync contacts, notes, and tasks using Outlook? We currently have sync working for email and calendar.
Absolutely, I have no experience with MS Exchange (We are a Notes site) but it should work pretty much the same.
From Desktop Manager, double click the Intellisync icon, in the configuration section click Configure PIM. Providing you have all the applications installed on the device, you should see Address book, Calendar, Memopad and Tasks. Click the check box next to each application, highlight each in turn and click Choose, select the appropriate translator from the list (MS Outlook or whatever) and click OK. Once you have done that for all applications, click OK, make sure you have Synchronize PIM checked in the Synchronize now section, and click Synchronize now.
I hope I understood your question correctly.
OK, apologies.
As far as I am aware (again speaking purely from Lotus Notes experience) the only true OTA synchronisation is done by the calendar. Everything else, including all management of the mail file, is done via the cradle.
This software runs on RIM 950's and RIM 957's and it is completely wireless so everything syncs over the air. The GoodLink software also has a built in ability to view attachments (which BlackBerry did not have when we were using it). My entire company has switched from Blackberry to GoodLink. Everyone likes using GoodLink much better.
