Okay, so here is my issue. I was just thrown into this....
We are running BES 2.1 currently on our server. A user just purchased a new 7550 which cradles via USB. His older version was using a com port. When wanting to update his user information (PIN) on the server I am unable to sync with the new BlackBerry. I just don't have an option for USB - Only Com ports.
So trying to work around this I used the redirector and not the BES Server. Well this did update the BES with the new PIN. I then turned the redirect off and had it run from the server. Now what is happening everytime the user removes the BlackBerry from the cradle and puts it back in it asks, "You have replaced the BlackBerry Device with pin ********. Are you sure you want to replace this?"
Basically along thos lines.....the kicker is that the pin it says I am replacing is the PIN that it already has registered. If I click NO it works fine....If I click yes it requires setting up a new encryption key and then works fine.
Does anyone have any ideas????? Also we are upgrading to 3.6 in a week!
