I have booted from a windows 98 cd rom support floopy and then run install.bat from the cd and i get to choose the language and then the screen goes black and i cant do anything
You can't boot from a Windows 98 floppy.. You also have to setup the DOS partition as a FAT16 partition, not a FAT32. If you use Win98, it will try to make it FAT32.
Even if you were able to avoid that one screen, it's still a good idea only to have FAT16 for the DOS partition. I've seen problems with fat32 DOS partitions and the general consensus is to use FAT16.
