Black screen, blocking of NICE?

First off, my apologies if this is not the proper place to be asking this question. I'm not a tech savvy person and I stumbled across this site after a google search.

Situation- When reviewing some calls made by an associate of mine I have noticed that the screen shot sometimes goes black. There is still an arrow showing cursor movement but nothing else. I have also been starting to notice this on calls placed by some of this associate's acquaintances. It's my suspicion that this person has found a way to block monitoring but I can't be certain. Would anyone know what exactly is causing this? Thanks is advance for any help.

what version of NICE are you using?

if it is a java based, terminal emulation or dos window older versions of screen agent cannot pick up activity in these windows therefore records a black screen where that window is.
