Black box plague

Hey all,,,,probably a quick one for you superstars.

I've got a label I'm putting together. I'm importing an EPS file,,,it's CMYK,,(doesn't mean a whole lot to me,,but maybe it does to you)
Positioning this file onto my label ,,it appears fine on the screen,,,but when I print it, there's a solid black box around it. Doesn't show in print preview either,,,just on paper.
How do I get rid of the black box?
Does that sound familiar to anyone? Need more info?

Are you printing to a *Postscript* printer? If you imported the EPS via the EPS filter, it is only *placing* the image and you do not see what will really print - as that has to be rendered by a postscript device. If you're importing the EPS via the PS/Interpreted filter, then you can print to a nonPS device.
