black border around photo.

Help, I have been trying to place a black (or any color) border around a photograph, just like in newspapers, books, etc. Just how would do it? using adobe 7.0 windows xp. Any help would be great

Select All, Edit > Stroke..., and choose the appropriate options. In reality, however, it's normally not added in Photoshop, but in the page layout software that the photo is imported into afterwards.
