Black Background Under Preview

All of a sudden I am getting a black background in the body of all of my reports when previewing the reports. All of the reports have the background set to Transparent. I can set the backround to white or whatever and it works fine, but don't know why they are all black now. Using Vb.net 2003 and sql reporting services 2000. I found some info on the net but it was only for 2005. Have I accidently changed some setting?
