We just started getting this error, "the Bkexec remote agent service hung on startup", after rebooting the server. We are running backup exec 9.0 build 4454. The remote agent service starts but the job engine doesn't. I have to manually start the service. The event viewer says the job engine failed to start because the remote agent failed to start, even though the remote agent is already started. After I manually start the job engine my backups run correctly. Any suggestions?
