Hey, I'm running WinXP, pretty new system and all that.
A while back my sister somehow managed to get our computer swamped with a whole lot of malware. GoldenCasino, and some other stuff I can't remember.
Anyway, instead of removing things the right way, I just deleted anything suspicious from Add/Remove Programs and ran Ad-Aware and Spybot. Unfortunately there's still some noticeable remnants hanging around.
For one thing, bridge.dll tries to run everytime I start my computer, but that's been addressed before.
This other thing, Bjnomaqc.exe keeps showing up in the Processes Tab of the Windows Task Manager. Manually closing it seems to work, but obviously that's not enough in the long run. I tried a google search and turned up absolutely nothing. It doesn't run all the time, but it will run for any User logged into WinXP, seems to start up randomly. The "Mem Usage" is also variable -- I've seen it using anywhere from 2,000K of memory to ~150,000K!!!
Have any of you guys heard of this thing, and do you know of any way to go about removing it?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
