I rendered an image in high res. and PhotoShop whacked it down to 72dpi. So now what do I do??? Make my edits and save-as CMYK and then what, EPS??
Please help....
Can you be more specific as to what kind of program you rendered your image in? And what do you mean by Hires?

Photoshop does not change anything in a picture when you open it, maybe the res is set at 72, but that doesn't mean anything as to the image itself.

If for example I render an image in Bryce or Stratavision at a high res, the image may be opened in Photoshop at 72, but the size of the image is bigger.

So all you have to do is just increase the image resulution in photoshop, and the image will them reduce in size, back to the size I actually need.

Is this helpful? If not, please restate your question with more information.

Andre Vandal
Andre Vandal
dezign@canada.com
<a href= Dezign's Sites
A bit of eveything Celestial

Hello Andre,

I'm sorry I was so vague. I rendered in trueSpace at 1280x960 <- high res. Since then I was asked to just jpeg it for print. They were happy with the results. I was under the impression that all print images *had to be EPS.
I didn't know that PS doesn't change the image itself when you open it, I understand that now. Thanks for that.
PS. Enjoyed your site, golly you're busy with all those sites.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my vague question. I really appreciate your help.

Artz
