Hello,

I am new to Biztalk 2004.
I have been dedicated-ly following the steps of the Biztalk tutorial 2004.
In the 2nd module - I get the following error:

"....You must specify at least one already initialised correlation set for non activation receive that is on a non-self correlating port".

I have no Idea on what to do.
The activate status of the first recieve location is already set to true

Have I missed out on something?

please help

regards

I am sure you missed something on the point 'Incorporating Correlation'.

Have you step by step completed this part of Module 2?

Your error says that you have an Receive shape and the Orchestration does not know what Message to get from the Message Box.
This happens if you have a receive Shape that is only connected to a Receive-Port in your Orchestration. If it is the Activating Port of your Orchestration set Activate to true, other than that yoiu will need a Correlation Set.

For example instance 123 of Your Orchestration started and you send message x with id 1 to some other process. Then if you want to receive in your Orchestration instance 123 the reply you need to create a Correlation set for messagex with id 1.

Does that help?
