I want to extract data from an oracle database, filtered by a specific filtering condition, and convert such data an xml file.

I did create the logical and physical ports and the orchestration to accomplish the task but for some reason the data is not being extracted.

I created a Receive Location with NativeSql event and the query statement written in the Poll Sql Statement.

I am no sure if the issue is with the port that is supposed to extract the data or with the Transform, is there any way to debug it, of better a link that provides me complete instructions on how to extract data from oracle.

Thansk for the help

My advice - don't use Biztalk to do this. I'm working on something at the moment where I have to get data out of a SQL database and turn it into XML before feeding into Biztalk, and I've done it all using SQL Server replication and stored procedures.

I had a go with the Biztalk SQL Adapter when I did the MS BT2006 course and found it to be 'unwieldy' to say the least. I'm sure the Oracle one is the same.
