Bitmapped text 1

Hi. When I type text into a layer in photoshop it appears heavily bitmapped or pixelated. It didnt do this before..any ideas would be great! Thanks.

Two things come to mind. Make sure your anti-aliasing method (on the options bar)is set to something other than NONE, and also make sure you're viewing at 100%.

Check your file resolution and also the mode.
