bitmapped images... .tif won't allow printing or exporting 1

Hello there.

I searched this forum and did not find a solution, so I am posting my question as this forum has always saved me in the past.

I have created a document in CS2, then we upgraded to CS3. Now when I try to print or export to a pdf, the bitmap images, my .tif images, will hang the printing or exporting up, cause an "unknown error" and the print or export will fail.

Any idea or help? The links show that all links are ok and working fine. I don't know what the solution is, and this is a 172 page file.

Usually this is an error in one of the bitmap files. See what page it hangs at when exporting. I had one recently that hung around the 110 page mark, and it was an image on page 107 that caused the problem.

It just had to be reopened, resaved, relinked.
