hi. i am working with flash mx today. i created a string of bitmap images, all with a transparent color over them. i saved the string of bitmaps into one long file "string1". the idea was to have a motion tween of this long string of bitmap images... sort of like a tiker tape on the stock exchange. it looks great in the editing window, but when i hit F12, it is just a multichromatic mess moving by me. What did i do wrong?

thanks.

yeah. it is. i figured it out. i had to lock the images to the long string and everything worked fine. its a big presentation. I have another quandary that resulted out of this one, tho. maybe you can help here? i have a background color and a foreground color and the foreground color is semi-transparent. in an example presentation i am working from, the foreground color doesn't lose its color due to the background color. how do i avoid allowing the background color to show through? a little stuped here.
thanks and sorry for the redirect.
