I am experiencing issues with placed bitmaps in indesign. Prior Pagemaker MO - convert image to bitmap mode and save as tiff - place in pagemaker and voila - change any crummy logo into a resolution independent non-problem. - plus I could change the color to anything.

Now - I can place a bitmapped tif in indesign and the transparancy effect immediately works, but if I attempt to change the color it will only impact the color of the transparent background - if you inverse it (IN PSD) the non-object background will appear black...when placed in indesign you can then change the color of the targeted image - but you forsake the transparency.

Tried all transparency settings and blend modes - but can't seem to get this to work...

please help...

Are you using that cute white arrow tool or the cute black arrow tool when selecting the graphic to color?

Why is everyone in this forum responding to me as picklefish?
